Day Two – Constructing the interview guide and role play.

Pioneer Migrator Settler Map (PMS) is a unique comparative tool that plots your existing product, service and delivery portfolio and assesses existing and future potential.
Buyer Utility Map (BUM) is a grid that plots the experience buyers have in engaging with the products and services of an industry and directs the focus of future value innovation.
The Four Actions Framework is a grid created from the interview outcomes that highlights areas for immediate cost savings within the existing business and identifies the demand side need for improvement and innovation.

BOB BARNETT
Bob is an internationally respected business strategist leading both development and implementation, using the principles, techniques, and methodologies of Blue Ocean Strategy. Bob is one of a very small community of highly qualified Blue Ocean Strategy practitioners worldwide, working for companies, governments, not for profit organizations and institutions.
He also cooperates with Professor Mauborgne at INSEAD on client-related projects (e.g. Samsung, Aviva, Thomas Cook) and is a keynote speaker for companies and institutions.
Bob has wide experience in both advising to, and leading, public and private companies in roles as diverse as Corporate Culture Change (British Airways), Business Development, Sales, Training and as CEO and Managing Partner. He has held directorships for nearly two decades, during which period he has also led four successful business startups.
He has a law degree from Kingston University (London) and has completed numerous post-graduate programmes in strategy, management, marketing and cultural change. He is a programme director at the Chartered Institute of Marketing.
PAOLO VANNINI
Paolo is an international executive and business coach with a successful record of driving profit and revenue growth for international corporations. His professional skills include: executive management, leadership coaching, strategy, marketing, corporate communication and pubic relationships, with a consistent focus on results.
Paolo has significant and successful experience in different executive management positions: VP, EVP, GM, President & CEO. He has served on numerous advisory boards for companies and start ups.
Before starting his consulting career he was President & CEO of Fiat USA, where he greatly contributed to the growth of the Fiat Group in North America.
Paolo has diversified professional experience, he is a qualified Blue Ocean Strategy coach, and he has worked on numerous successful BOS projects. He holds a degree in Economics from the University of Turin and is fluent in Italian, English, Spanish, French and Portuguese.
CHRIS BALLARD
Chris is a results-oriented and focused executive, able to bring practical solutions to complex issues and achieve consensus among diverse stakeholder groups.
He has broad experience in large and complex environments for multiple industries: finance, manufacturing, retail, health, telecommunications and utilities.
Chris is experienced in both buying and selling, and directing large organizations:

ASHLEY HUNTER
Ashley is an MBA-qualified Strategy Leader equally comfortable defining strategy in the boardroom and delivering it at the coal face with a proven track record of developing and executing growth strategies that create new market space. He has 11 years of experience in Management Consulting with spanning the breadth of Europe, the Middle East, and Africa, including both external consulting and internal strategy teams, working with industries as diverse as Financial Services, Technology/Software, and Betting & Gaming, and is a certified Blue Ocean Strategist from the Blue Ocean Strategy Institute in Singapore, where he studied under Prof. Chan Kim himself (author of the Blue Ocean Strategy books). He is currently Senior Commercial Director for the EMEA region for NASDAQ-listed corporate, Light & Wonder (LnW).
